Junior Sales Manager – Export & Private Label
Position Overview
Responsible for driving export sales and developing private-label business across assigned international markets. The role involves managing customers and distributors, developing new business, coordinating private-label business, and ensuring smooth execution from enquiry to shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Export Sales & Business Development
- Manage international customers, distributors, and importers.
- Develop new customers, markets, products, and business opportunities.
- Achieve sales, volume, revenue, and GP targets monthly as per budget.
- Monitor market trends, competition, and customer requirements.
2. Private Label Business
- Manage private label for our products
- Ensure projects meet required margins and are delivered on time.
- Support the transition from product development to regular supply.
3. Sales Planning & Forecasting
- Prepare and maintain accurate sales forecasts and demand plans.
- Track performance against budget and identify sales and GP gaps.
- Maintain an updated sales pipeline and provide regular business updates.
- Develop action plans to convert opportunities and close gaps.
4. Order & Shipment Coordination
- Follow up on orders to ensure timely production, billing, and shipment.
- Coordinate with Logistics and Supply Chain on production and shipping schedules.
- Monitor order status and proactively highlight potential risks.
- Follow up on payments, PIs, LCs, and export documentation.
5. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors.
- Understand customer needs, market challenges, and growth opportunities.
- Conduct regular customer reviews and collect market feedback.
- Resolve customer issues through effective internal coordination.
- Identify opportunities for additional SKUs, categories, and markets.
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably within FMCG, food, consumer goods, or a related industry.
• Experience in export sales and/or distributor management.
• Good understanding of sales planning, forecasting, pricing, margins, and customer negotiations.
• Experience in managing customer relationships and developing new business opportunities and in Private label.
• Strong commercial understanding with the ability to identify volume and revenue opportunities.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good command of written and spoken Arabic and English.
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.
