Job Description & Summary
The HC Associate - Offboarding is responsible for executing a structured, compliant, and regionally tailored offboarding process. This role ensures seamless coordination across HR systems, compliance with local regulations, and timely communication with stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities
- Process Execution & Compliance
- Validate and approve resignation workflows in Workday and Sapience.
- Ensure integration between Workday and Sapience is functioning correctly.
- Trigger and monitor the Exit Checklist process, coordinating with IT, Finance, L&D, and local HC teams.
- Manage country-specific requirements such as medical insurance cancellation and clawback verification.
- Final Settlements & Documentation
- Draft and validate final settlement (FS) documents.
- Coordinate approvals with local HC and Finance teams.
- Share approved FS with the employee and ensure all deductions/payments are entered into Sapience.
- Draft and archive experience letters as part of the Exit Checklist.
- Regional Governance & Deviation Management
- Apply a “why not” lens to assess regional deviations from standard processes due to legal or regulatory constraints.
- Use a classification framework to categorize deviations as low, medium, or high.
- System & Reporting Oversight
- Monitor offboarding-related reports (e.g., R008A Terminated Worker Job Details).
- Collaborate with digital transformation teams to ensure reporting accuracy and automation.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong understanding of HR systems (Workday, Sapience).
- Attention to detail and ability to manage compliance-heavy workflows.
- Clear communication with stakeholders across HC, Finance, and regional teams.
- Analytical mindset for reconciliation and deviation analysis.

The role is embedded within the HC Shared Services team, with a growing scope that includes governance enhancements and technical support for exit processes.
