People Specialist in our office in Amman
Responsibilities
- Assist in the full recruitment cycle, including drafting job descriptions, posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating interviews with hiring managers.
- Support onboarding processes by preparing orientation materials and facilitating new hire orientation sessions.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Help organize and coordinate training and development programs, including tracking attendance and assessing training effectiveness.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, feedback sessions, and recognition programs.
- Assist in managing employee benefits administration and responding to inquiries regarding benefits and policies.
- Participate in performance management processes, including tracking performance reviews and providing support to managers.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement in employee retention.
- Collaborate with the People team on various projects, such as diversity and inclusion initiatives, policy updates, and workplace wellness programs.
- Provide support in addressing employee concerns, escalating issues where needed, and helping foster a positive workplace culture.
- Support career development initiatives, mentoring programs, and succession planning activities.
- Provide day-to-day support on HR systems administration, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates
- Support HR reporting, dashboards, and analytics to provide insights to management.
- Ensure compliance with data integrity standards across HR processes and systems.
- Partner with the wider People team to streamline workflows and improve system usage
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage with candidates and stakeholders effectively.
- Previous experience with HRIS/HR systems (SAP SuccessFactors, Workday or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide insights.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in managing employee data and system inputs.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and act as a subject matter expert for HR tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment and Hands-on experience with LinkedIn job postings, candidate sourcing, and pipeline building.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
