Job Summary:
The Specialist, People Shared Services (French Speaker) will be responsible for delivering and coordinating People services and operations specifically for Morocco, Tunisia, and Algeria, while also providing support to other countries in the MENA region when required. This role ensures People processes run efficiently and in compliance with country-specific labor regulations. The Specialist will provide administrative support, manage employee services, maintain People systems, and contribute to regional People initiatives in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and cross-border People teams.
Key Responsibilities:
People Operations:
- Manage day-to-day people operations for Morocco, Tunisia, and Algeria, including onboarding, offboarding, personnel files, and employee lifecycle activities.
- Ensure compliance with North African labor laws and stay updated on employment legislation and regulatory changes in the region.
- Support and implement People policies and procedures across the people countries in coordination with regional People.
- Ensure all People Shared Services processes are legally compliant and reflect local practices.
Employee Services:
- Act as the first point of contact for employees, managers in North Africa on People-related queries.
- Assist employees with issues related to payroll, benefits, leave, and general People concerns.
- Coordinate with internal People functions to resolve complex issues and deliver a seamless employee experience.
- Handle time-sensitive or urgent requests with professionalism and accuracy.
- Build strong relationships with employees, managers, and People teams across cultures to ensure satisfaction and service excellence.
- Provide proactive support and guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Answer incoming employee calls and service requests with a customer-centric approach.
Systems and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records and data in People information systems.
- Generate, validate, and analyze People reports for management and compliance purposes.
- Support the rollout and use of People technology platforms across North Africa.
- Administer time & attendance systems and ensure data accuracy.
- Handle employee service requests via Ivanti, ensuring timely and complete resolution.
Projects and Initiatives:
- Contribute to regional and global People initiatives, ensuring alignment with North African requirements.
- Support process improvements and standardization of People services in the region.
- Identify gaps in People service delivery and propose solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other People team members to drive continuous improvement across services.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in French (spoken and written) is mandatory for this role.
- B1 -B2 level in French is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience, in People Operations preferable in Morocco, Tunisia, or Algeria, or in a regional North Africa.
- Solid understanding of People practices and labor legislation across North Africa.
- Preferable experience with HRIS (e.g., SAP, Sage) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage diverse interactions across countries and cultures.
- High level of integrity and ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Good command of English.
