Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Consulting Manager (Odoo) to lead our functional consulting team and oversee successful ERP implementations across diverse industries. This role requires a strong background in financial processes, team leadership, and client management. The ideal candidate has deep experience with Odoo ERP, functional consulting, and a solid understanding of business operations, particularly in finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of functional Odoo consultants to ensure successful implementation to clients and post-go-live support.
Act as the primary point of contact between clients and internal project delivery during project lifecycles.
Analyze client business needs, particularly in finance and accounting, and map them to Odoo functionalities.
Design and oversee functional solution architecture, workflows, and custom configurations.
Perform end-to-end testing and validation of configurations prior to go-live.
Collaborate with project managers and internal delivery team to design and validate system customizations and integrations.
Conduct internal and client training sessions on Odoo system use and processes.
Facilitate change management to support adoption and effective system usage.
Track KPIs and project milestones, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Ensure alignment with best practices in ERP deployment, change management, and system adoption.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
5-8 years of experience in Odoo ERP implementation, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead consultant role.
Strong knowledge of financial and accounting processes (AR, AP, GL, reconciliation, budgeting, etc.).
Proven track record of managing multiple ERP projects end-to-end.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle client-facing responsibilities.
Strong understanding of business analysis, documentation, and process mapping.
Preferred Qualifications:
Odoo 18 Functional Certification
PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
CMA or CPA certification (or progress towards it).
Experience in managing ERP projects in manufacturing, trading, or services industries.
Exposure to other ERP platforms is a plus (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
