Role Description
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Educational Consultant to join our team in Amman, Jordan. This is a full-time, on-site position with travel requirements. As an Educational Consultant at BookSource, you will provide expert advice and guidance to educational institutions, helping them select the right resources for their needs. You will work closely with clients to tailor solutions, promote educational products, and contribute to a positive learning environment through exceptional service. You'll also facilitate communication between clients and publishers, helping to foster innovation in educational practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote BookSource's curriculum packages and educational resources to schools, universities, and educational institutions
- Visit schools and educational centres to present curriculum materials and assist teachers with implementation and online platforms
- Conduct needs assessments with educators and propose tailored solutions and recommendations
- Provide expert consultation on educational resources and solutions
- Promote and educate clients on the latest educational trends, including STEAM and Robotics resources
- Deliver excellent customer service, acting as a point of contact for clients
- Support the sales and marketing teams in promoting BookSource's educational offerings, including content ideas for campaigns targeting educators
- Maintain detailed records of visits, contacts, and communications
- Follow up on meetings and school visits to ensure client satisfaction and proper implementation of materials
- Collect feedback from teachers and institutions to help improve products and services
- Stay updated on curriculum development and educational trends
- Assist in organising workshops, training sessions, and book fairs
- Attend educational events, conferences, and international trade fairs to represent BookSource
- Conduct school visits both within and outside Jordan
- Drive to various locations as part of client outreach and support activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education, marketing, business, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in educational consulting, education, sales, or marketing
- Knowledge of the education sector and school systems in Jordan
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude with attention to detail
- Experience in curriculum development
- Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices
- A passion for promoting continuous learning and innovation in education
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally
- Valid driver's licence (must) and comfortable with driving for work purposes
- Flexibility to adapt to varying work environments and cultures
