Project Manager / Business Analyst – Legacy Application Modernization
Job Title: Project Manager/ Business Analyst – Migration of the old application to Modern Architecture
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager/ Business Analyst to lead the modernization of an existing Old application. The new system will be developed using Flutter (Front-end), C# .NET Web API (backend), and MySQL (database).
This role bridges the gap between business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring the successful translation of legacy business logic into modern solutions.
Responsibilities:
· Analyse the existing old application (forms, queries, macros, and reports) to document workflows and business rules.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
· Create functional specifications, process documentation, and user stories for developers.
· Work closely with the Flutter Developer and C# Backend Developer to ensure requirements are correctly implemented.
· Manage timelines, priorities and deliverables for the project.
· Act as the main communication bridge between non-technical stakeholders and the development team.
· Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure smooth knowledge transfer.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Project Manager or Business Analyst in software development projects.
· Strong background in legacy system analysis and migration projects.
· Knowledge of database-driven applications (Access, SQL Server, MySQL).
· Ability to document business logic, workflows, and requirements clearly.
· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project management methodologies.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have:
· Exposure to ERP, Accounting, or Inventory systems.
· Technical understanding of APIs, databases, and front-end frameworks.
