The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Employee Benefits team and contribute to the growth of our corporate business portfolio. The Employee Benefits Executive will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with corporate clients and brokers, and promoting innovative employee benefits solutions. The role offers valuable exposure to sales, client engagement, negotiation, and strategic business development, making it ideal for a motivated professional looking to build a successful career in the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth by identifying and pursuing opportunities for new corporate policies and solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and profitability objectives through achieving sales target.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to provide strategic insights, reports, and recommendations on production performance and operational improvements.
- Lead the development and achievement of new business objectives, ensuring premium targets and corporate growth benchmarks are met or exceeded.
- Leverage all distribution channels, including internal sales teams and external brokers, to secure and optimize new business opportunities efficiently and effectively.
- Actively oversee the onboarding process of new corporate clients, ensuring seamless administration and adherence to underwriting and compliance standards.
- Maintain rigorous controls over underwriting and administrative processes to support the delivery of high-quality corporate solutions.
- Ensure robust audit protocols are in place to align internal and external operations with corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
- Provide strategic risk assessment and facilitate the timely issuance of corporate solutions proposals, ensuring accuracy and completeness in collaboration with underwriting teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven corporate sales experience.
- Insurance industry experience is a plus
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and customer service expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong English communication and presentation skills.
- Insurance industry experience, preferably in Employee Benefits.
- Corporate sales experience with strong relationship management skills.
