Role Description This full-time, on-site Insurance Sales Consultant role is based in Amman, Jordan. The Insurance Sales Consultant will engage prospective and existing customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable insurance and financial protection solutions. Daily responsibilities include conducting sales consultations, explaining policy features and benefits, preparing quotations, and supporting customers through the application and underwriting processes. The role involves maintaining accurate records in MetLife’s systems, following company guidelines and regulatory requirements, and meeting individual and team sales targets. The Insurance Sales Consultant will collaborate with colleagues across operations, customer service, and marketing to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong customer relationship and consultative selling skills, with the ability to identify needs and offer suitable insurance solutions.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, including clear presentation of complex information and active listening.
- Basic financial literacy and understanding of insurance concepts; prior experience in insurance, banking, or financial services is an advantage.
- Proficiency with common office and CRM software tools, with the ability to maintain accurate and confidential customer records.
- Results-oriented mindset, with demonstrated ability to work toward sales targets while upholding ethical standards and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple customer interactions and follow-ups in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Arabic preferred, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers and colleagues.
