Job Description:
At EFS Facilities Services, we are looking for a highly proactive and experienced Area Manager to oversee daily operations across assigned service areas and ensure seamless service delivery, manpower efficiency, client satisfaction, and compliance with operational standards in Jordan. This role is critical in driving operational discipline, maintaining service quality, and ensuring smooth execution of day-to-day operations across multiple sites and field service environments.
🔍 Role Overview
The Area Manager will be responsible for leading and managing daily operations across assigned sites, service routes, or operational areas to ensure operational continuity, workforce productivity, service excellence, and client satisfaction. This role requires a hands-on operations leader with strong team management capabilities, operational decision-making skills, and experience managing large-scale frontline operations in environments such as waste management, facilities management, logistics, cleaning services, or field operations.
🧩 Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily operations across assigned sites, service areas, or routes to ensure uninterrupted service delivery and operational efficiency
- Lead frontline operational teams and manage manpower deployment to optimize workforce productivity and service performance
- Monitor operational performance, attendance, productivity, discipline, and compliance across assigned operational areas
- Coordinate route planning, site schedules, shift deployment, and resource allocation to ensure timely and effective execution of services
- Ensure compliance with operational SOPs, company policies, client requirements, and agreed service standards
- Conduct regular site visits, operational inspections, and performance reviews to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement
- Manage client relationships and act as the key operational point of contact to ensure customer satisfaction and timely issue resolution
- Handle operational escalations, service disruptions, workforce challenges, and client concerns in a proactive and solution-oriented manner
- Monitor manpower attendance, leave planning, overtime, shift allocation, and workforce discipline across assigned areas
- Coordinate with support functions such as HR, logistics, procurement, maintenance, and administration to support operational continuity
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports covering service delivery, manpower utilization, incidents, productivity, and key performance indicators
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and operational standards across all managed sites and operational areas
- Support mobilization projects, audits, service improvements, and operational readiness initiatives
✅ What We’re Looking For
- 5–8 years of operational experience, preferably in waste management, facilities management, logistics, cleaning services, field operations, or large-scale service delivery environments
- Proven experience in managing multi-site operations, route/site management, manpower planning, and operational execution
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage frontline teams and drive performance across assigned service areas
- Hands-on experience in client coordination, service delivery management, issue resolution, and operational reporting
- Strong expertise in workforce planning, attendance control, shift management, and operational discipline
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Good understanding of operational compliance, SOP implementation, and service quality standards
- Strong reporting, communication, team management, and customer service orientation
- Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced, and operationally intensive field environments
🎓 Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Management, or related field
