Position Overview:
Digital product owners oversee the entire lifecycle of a digital product, from inception to launch. The role requires a range of skills, designing the Digital product architecture, UI development, to digital service planning. A digital product owner is responsible for the overall vision of the digital product and managing the role out of this vision into successful launch.
The scope of this position is to oversee JICO’s Different digital applications that serve both external and internal entities.
Responsibilities:
· Define and communicate the digital product vision, roadmap, and strategy aligned with business goals.
· Gather and prioritize requirements from stakeholders, customers, and internal teams.
· Own and manage the digital product backlog, ensuring clarity, priority, and business value in each item.
· Collaborate with development teams to refine user stories, set sprint goals, and review deliverables.
· Insure that SDLC is performed correctly and within the quantity deemed necessary.
· Validate a digital product features through user feedback, testing, and performance metrics.
· Ensure alignment between business needs and technical execution.
· Act as the main point of contact for digital product-related decisions and communication.
Daily And Monthly Responsibilities
· Manage the product roadmap and backlog for all digital products
· Oversee and manage lead requirements discovery, solution design, user story writing, feature development, and user acceptance testing
· Partner with cross functional teams regularly to ensure alignment on feature development and prioritization and issues.
· Partner with other teams to manage the roadmap and backlog to ensure that all capabilities delivered on time and per expectation
· Monitor and evaluate product performance to ensure constant product iteration and improvement
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Industrial Engineering, computer science, or related fields (MBA is a Plus)
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience.
- Knowledge: Trello or related management software
- Skills: Strong Analytical, problem solving and communication
- Extra Skills: HTML, SQL, UX-UI knowledge are a plus
- Attributes: Strong communications, Deep understanding of user experience, business processes, and technology integration. Ability to collaborate with Development team, Business Analysts, UX/UI Designers, and stakeholders across departments.
