Role Description The Business Development Manager role at Skoolarz is a full-time, on-site position based in Amman, Jordan. This role is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities with K–12 schools, districts, and education partners, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. Day-to-day tasks include conducting outreach via calls, emails, and meetings, delivering product demos tailored to stakeholder needs, and preparing proposals that align with institutional requirements. The Business Development Manager will build and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers, collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and offerings, and track pipeline activities using CRM tools. This position also involves attending industry events, gathering market and competitor insights, and providing feedback to leadership to inform strategy and product improvements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within SaaS, EdTech, or B2B technology solutions.
- Strong skills in lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline management, with the ability to manage a full sales cycle and meet revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, including experience delivering product demos to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with school administrators, district leaders, or institutional partners.
- Comfort with CRM platforms, sales analytics, and reporting tools, and the ability to use data to guide decisions and forecasts.
- Understanding of K–12 operations, education technology, or school management processes is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
