NXGEN is seeking a Product Owner to join our team and support the full lifecycle of our solutions within a physical security and edge-computing environment. This role plays a key part in bridging product, engineering, and customers to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable solutions while driving alignment between technical execution and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Write clear, well-structured user stories and acceptance criteria
- Own and continuously groom the product backlog, ensuring it is prioritized and ready for development
- Facilitate and actively participate in sprint ceremonies: planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Work closely with leadership to ensure development work aligns with overall project timelines and priorities
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for the development team on scope and requirements questions
- Flag blockers, dependencies, and risks early to the relevant stakeholders
- Help maintain visibility of sprint progress and upcoming work across the team
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar agile role
- Solid understanding of agile and scrum principles
- Experience writing user stories and managing a product backlog
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced software environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- CSPO or equivalent certification is a plus
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Zoho Sprints or similar is expected
