MedNet Jordan is one of the leading managed care service organizations that caters to healthcare needs. We are currently seeking to hire an Medical Network Manager (on Hybrid working modules basis) with the following tasks and responsibilities:
Your job:
Human Capital Management
• Manage the effective achievement of the Network department objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing staff, and providing formal and informal feedback in order to maximize overall performance and team motivation.
• Deliver training to existing and new staff members in order to improve their knowledge and ensure their professional development in contracting and profiling.
Budgets and Plans
• Prepare and recommend the department budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the company is aware of anticipated costs/ revenues, and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
Network Management
• Plan, manage and control the network development and operations management processes to ensure effective execution of services as per management quality standards and policies.
• Lead and conduct provider profiling and trend analysis to identify preferred service providers and VIP providers or key decision report with recommendations to the General Manager for decision making.
• Identify data to support network management and guide the process of effective data capturing, maintenance, retrieval, and reporting to facilitate effective MedNet Jordan operations.
Health Care Services Providers Inclusions
• Lead the completion of health care services providers satisfaction surveys and meet with them to monitor and evaluate satisfaction levels and report on performance to Management with recommendation on areas of service enhancement to facilitate achievement of MedNet Jordan objectives.
Business Development
• Develop a strong and effective network across industry to explore and exploit future business opportunities and to promote company’s image as a leading health care service provider and third part administrator (TPA) in the region.
Contract Management
• Lead the identification, selection, evaluation, negotiation, contracting and re - contracting process of health care service providers within the established corporate guidelines to ensure that all services are provided cost efficiently in accord to defined quality standards and procedures ensuring optimum protection company’s business interests.
• Ensure maintenance of information/records of all contracts handled by the department.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
• Recommend improvements to departmental policy and manage the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of network activity so that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
• Lead the implementation of quality assurance programs and fraud and abuse management processes in order to maintain standards of quality and ensure that fraudulent/abusive cases are dealt with in a correct and systematic manner.
Reports
Your Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Hospital Administration or Allied healthcare sciences like Physiotherapy, Nursing, Pharmacy, Radiology, Laboratory.
• 10 years' experience in Network management in a TPA/medical insurance sector out of which 5 years in managerial/supervisory level.
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Attention to details.
• Ability to operate effectively with people at all levels of the business.
• Excellent command of writing & speaking English and Arabic.
• Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint).
