Role Overview
Revival Contracting is seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Architect to lead the technical design, coordination, and delivery of interior fit‑out and construction projects. This role requires deep architectural expertise, strong site coordination skills, and the ability to translate design intent into fully buildable, compliant, and cost‑effective solutions. The Senior Technical Architect will work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure that all technical aspects of the project are executed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Design & Documentation
- Lead the development of detailed architectural drawings, shop drawings, and construction documents for fit‑out projects.
- Review and validate design intent, ensuring constructability and compliance with local codes and standards.
- Prepare technical submittals, material specifications, and coordination drawings.
- Provide value‑engineering solutions without compromising design quality.
2. Project Coordination
- Coordinate with MEP, structural, and specialist subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
- Conduct technical workshops and coordination meetings with consultants and clients.
- Ensure all drawings are fully coordinated before release for construction.
- Manage RFIs, design clarifications, and technical approvals.
3. Site Support & Quality Assurance
- Conduct regular site visits to verify compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Provide technical guidance to site teams and resolve on‑site design challenges.
- Ensure quality control of architectural finishes, joinery, and fit‑out elements.
- Support project managers in monitoring progress and identifying risks.
4. Compliance & Standards
- Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, fire and life safety regulations, and authority requirements.
- Prepare documentation for authority submissions and approvals.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of materials, technologies, and industry best practices.
5. Leadership & Mentoring
- Lead and mentor junior architects, draftsmen, and technical staff.
- Establish and enforce drafting standards, templates, and quality procedures.
- Support business development by providing technical input for proposals and tenders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- 10+ years of experience in architectural design, with at least 5 years in interior fit‑out or contracting.
- Strong knowledge of joinery, finishes, materials, and fast‑track construction methods.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM workflows, and other design tools.
- Experience working with consultants, developers, and high‑end clients.
- Strong understanding of Jordanian building codes.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
