Position Overview
As a Senior Product Manager – Government Training Segment, you will lead the strategy, development, and continuous improvement of digital training and upskilling platforms serving Jordanian government entities, including ministries, public institutions, and national programs.
You will own the product vision and roadmap, working closely with engineering, UX, data, and business teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-impact training platforms aligned with Jordan’s public-sector workforce development priorities, regulatory frameworks, and localization requirements.
Experience
- 7+ years of experience in Product Management with proven ownership of complex digital or platform-based products.
- Experience working with government, public-sector, or regulated environments in Jordan or the region is highly preferred.
- Experience in training, education, workforce development, or EdTech platforms is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive product vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap aligned with government training and capacity-building initiatives in Jordan.
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery and stakeholder alignment through delivery, launch, and continuous optimization.
- Partner closely with engineering, UX/UI, QA, and data teams to ensure high-quality execution and scalable delivery.
- Engage directly with Jordanian government stakeholders to gather requirements, align priorities, and manage expectations.
- Ensure products meet local regulatory, compliance, and localization requirements across different public-sector entities.
- Lead product discovery activities, including stakeholder interviews, user research, and market analysis within the government training domain.
- Define and track product success metrics, using data and feedback to guide prioritization and continuous improvement.
- Communicate product plans, progress, and outcomes clearly to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong product ownership and prioritization skills within complex, multi-stakeholder government environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, particularly with non-technical and public-sector audiences.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making mindset.
- Comfortable working closely with engineering teams and managing technical trade-offs in regulated environments.
Nice to Have
- Direct experience working with Jordanian government digital platforms, national training programs, or public-sector initiatives.
- Familiarity with local compliance requirements, procurement processes, or policy-driven constraints.
- Experience with training platforms, LMS, or large-scale learning systems.
- Technical background or previous hands-on experience in software development.
- Product management or Agile certifications.
- MBA or Master’s degree.
