We are hiring a "Junior Logistics Coordinator" to support logistics operations and assist in the execution of daily warehousing and logistics activities. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and requires strong coordination, accuracy, and responsiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics operations, including off-loading and loading at warehouses.
- Communicate with clients regarding inbound and outbound shipments.
- Prepare reports based on company operations.
- Prepare inventory reports, receipts, and other forms related to warehousing operations.
- Assist the logistics team in logistics-related tasks.
- Manage shipping documents, including bills of lading and packing lists.
- Handle logistics operations for air, land, and sea freight shipments.
- Represent City Shipping Logistics onsite during warehouse and loading / un-loading operations.
- Proactively address delays and discrepancies during shipping and warehousing.
The Junior Logistics Coordinator will report directly to the Senior Logistics Coordinator and is expected to adhere to company policies, meet performance standards, and demonstrate professional conduct.
Emergency Response & Aid Operations
- Demonstrate adaptability and readiness to respond to emergency situations in the Aid and Relief department.
- Prioritize urgent shipments and coordinate with teams to meet critical deadlines.
- Maintain availability outside regular working hours when emergencies require immediate attention.
- Ensure seamless communication with NGOs, warehouses, and stakeholders during crisis operations.
- Identify and resolve logistical bottlenecks in real time.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, warehouse teams, and third parties to address disruptions promptly.
- Prepare contingency plans to handle unforeseen operational challenges.
- Manage time-sensitive shipments for disaster response and humanitarian relief.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of documents critical to emergency operations, including customs clearances.
- Support cross-border logistics with compliance and precision under tight deadlines.

What We’re Looking For
- Fresh graduate or up to one year of experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Must own a car.
