JOB PURPOSE
The Production Manager will oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production processes, optimal capacity utilization, and high-quality output. The role is responsible for driving operational excellence, improving productivity, and aligning production activities with supply chain and business objectives. Experience in plastic manufacturing is highly preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage daily production operations to meet output, quality, and cost targets
- Plan and optimize production capacity, workflow, and resource allocation
- Ensure smooth coordination between production, supply chain, and warehouse teams
- Monitor production performance and implement data-driven improvements
- Oversee inventory usage and collaborate on material planning requirements
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
- Utilize SAP for production planning, reporting, and performance tracking
- Analyze operational data and prepare performance reports
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
- Lead, coach, and develop production teams
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations
- Strong knowledge of production processes, capacity planning, and workflow management
- Experience in plastic manufacturing industries is preferred
- Hands-on experience with SAP
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Solid understanding of inventory management and supply chain principles
- Excellent time management, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
