Al Salwa Publishers is an award-winning publishing house specializing in publishing original Arabic books for children and teens. Our books are distributed to local and international bookstores/distributors, and we also sell through our own e-commerce website.
Role Description
The Operations Coordinator will support day-to-day business operations with a focus on order processing, finance administration, logistics and inventory control.
What You’ll Do:
- Process customer orders and support our sales team
- Enter invoices, receipts and returns
- Supervise warehouse operations and ensure proper stock management
- Reconcile inventory and prepare monthly reports
- Receive shipments, verify quantities, and maintain accurate records
- Track logistics with shipping, customs, and insurance partners
- Follow up on customer collections and ensure monthly deposits
What We’re Looking For:
- 2–5-year experience in operations, inventory management, and sales support
- Strong QuickBooks and Excel skills
- Ability to handle different tasks during the day
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, numerical and communication skills
- Experience in publishing, distribution, or warehousing is a plus
- Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable in a fast-moving small team
