"The IT and Digital Team, within the Joint Delivery Unit (JDU) at GIZ Jordan, is seeking talented individuals for upcoming internship opportunity to support IT operations, documentation and digitalisation tasks.
About the project?
The Joint Delivery Unit (JDU) provides cross-cutting operational and administrative support to GIZ Jordan's programmes and projects, ensuring efficient, compliant and secure service delivery. The IT and Digital Team, part of the JDU, is responsible for information technology operations, information security and digitalisation across the Country Office and field locations.
Working within a RUN, PROTECT and TRANSFORM framework, the team keeps core IT services running reliably, safeguards data and information in line with GIZ security standards, and supports the organisation's ongoing digital transformation, including Microsoft 365 and SharePoint-based solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
Documentation and data management: assisting in updating IT documentation, inventories and databases.
Basic technical support: helping with simple troubleshooting tasks, for example printer setup and software installation.
Operational support: organising IT assets and handling general user requests during peak workload.
Digitalisation and communication: supporting digital awareness materials, SharePoint updates and workflow documentation.
Learning exposure: gaining hands-on experience in IT service management processes and the Microsoft 365 environment.
Who Are We Looking For?
Recent university graduates (within 24 months of graduation) or Master student in fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Security, or a related field.
Strong academic credentials and a commitment to excellence.
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Keen to learn new skills and adapt to a public - international work environment.
