A nonprofit humanitarian organization focused on social impact and supporting vulnerable communities is looking for a Junior Accountant to join its team in Amman.
The role will support day-to-day accounting activities, including maintaining accurate financial records, reconciliations, reporting, and assisting with finance operations.
What we’re looking for:
🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
🕒 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience
📊 Practical understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting
🧾 Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, AP/AR, and month-end closing
💻 Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
🌍 Full professional proficiency in English, including excellent written and verbal communication skills
🔎 Strong attention to detail, organisation, and analytical skills
🔐 Ability to manage confidential financial information professionally
🤝 Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
