About the Role
Our client, a growing technology-driven company in Amman, is expanding its engineering team and looking for a skilled Python / MLOps Engineer to contribute to the development of reliable, scalable, and high-performing software and machine learning solutions.
The ideal candidate has strong Python development experience, hands-on experience with MLOps and machine learning model deployment, and a passion for building scalable systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business and end-user requirements into effective technical solutions while continuously improving code quality, system performance, and development processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code
- Implement machine learning models and algorithms, and integrate them into production systems
- Contribute to the development of the MLOps platform, focusing on automation, scalability, and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand end-user requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality
- Continuously improve code quality, system design, and development processes
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong experience in Python development, including experience with frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI
- Proven experience in MLOps, including deploying and scaling machine learning models
- Experience with machine learning libraries and tools
- Familiarity with strongly typed languages such as Java, C++, or Go is a plus
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
