About the Role
Our client, a growing technology-driven company in Amman, is expanding its engineering team and looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Frontend Developer to build engaging, responsive, and high-performing user interfaces for its applications.
The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in modern web technologies, enjoys turning designs into clean and functional code, and is comfortable working collaboratively with designers, backend engineers, and QA teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using modern frontend frameworks
- Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, reusable code
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and services
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs in coordination with designers
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews and testing to ensure product quality
- Debug and resolve UI issues and bugs reported by QA or end users
- Stay up to date with emerging frontend technologies and industry best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 1+ years of professional experience in frontend development
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
- Strong experience with Next.js & React.js
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and how to integrate them into applications
- Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Vite) and package managers (npm/yarn)
- Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles
- Familiarity with TanStack Query
