Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams across backend, frontend, mobile, DevOps, and data disciplines.
- Drive execution ofcomplex technical projects from conception to release, ensuring alignment with product strategy and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and business leaders to prioritize work, define roadmaps, and manage trade-offs.
- Implement and continuously refine engineering processes, development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and agile practices.
- Oversee system architecture, scalability, security, and technical debt management across microservices, cloud infrastructure, and application layers.
- Hire, onboard, and develop engineering talent while supporting career growth through performance reviews, feedback loops, and leveling frameworks.
- Lead cross-functional planning, quarterly OKRs, sprint reviews, and strategic alignment meetings with stakeholders.
- Ensure engineering teams deliver on SLAs, uptime, incident response, and production health monitoring.
- Cultivate a culture of ownership, innovation,psychological safety, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. (Master's degree is a plus)
- Deep hands-on experience in backend and systems engineering; broad understanding of full-stack and DevOps practices.
- Strong familiarity with agile methodologies, software lifecycle best practices, and qualityassurance standards.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), CI/CD, scalable system design, and performance optimization.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver on complex, multi-team projects.
- Experience managing engineering budgets, vendor relationships, or compliance efforts (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.) is a plus.
Years Of Experience
7 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.

- Acts as the primary liaison between engineering and business leaders, ensuring clear alignment and transparent status reporting.
- Facilitates interdepartmental communication with product,marketing, QA, design, cybersecurity, IT, and data/BI teams.
- Leads key technical and leadership meetings, providing input on architecture, staffing, OKRs, and product timelines.
- Communicates engineering challenges and trade-offs clearly to C-level executives and non-technical stakeholders.
- Promotes a feedback-rich environment, regularly conducting 1:1s, team retrospectives, and strategic reviews.
