Job Summary:
The Head of Transformation is responsible for leading and overseeing the bank’s transformation agenda, ensuring successful execution of strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, customer experience, digital capabilities, and long-term competitiveness. The role involves working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to design, implement, and monitor high-impact transformation programs across the organization.
Job Duties:
- Lead the Enterprise-Wide Transformation Strategy through define and managing the bank’s transformation roadmap in alignment with strategic business goals.
- Drive cultural and operational change through digital adoption, process optimization, and customer-centric approaches.
- Program & Project Administration through Overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of transformation programs across all departments (e.g., Retail, Corporate, Operations, IT, Risk).
- Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and meet intended outcomes.
- Championing change management practices to support successful adoption of new systems, processes, and behaviors.
- Ensure communication and engagement strategies are in place to facilitate smooth transitions across all levels.
- Act as the bridge between executive leadership and implementation teams.
- Collaborate with business heads, HR, IT, Risk, and Compliance to ensure transformation
- objectives are achieved without compromising governance or control frameworks.
- Establish KPIs to measure progress and impact of transformation initiatives.
- Present regular updates and insights to the Executive leadership and Board-level transformation committees.
- Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging experimentation and agile thinking.
- Benchmark best practices from local and international markets to introduce relevant innovations.
Skills and competencies:
- 15+ years of experience in strategic transformation, consulting, or change leadership, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional transformation or large-scale change programs.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, digital transformation, and customer
- experience strategy.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Certification in change management, agile, or program management (e.g., Prosci, PMP, Agile Scrum) is an advantage.
