Manage and coordinate all aspects of quality assurance activities with various levels of risk and complexity within a variety of scopes across a single site. Confirm requests for quality support from the site and communicate policies and procedures. Proactive liaison with customer for quality assurance across site(s). To maintain and enhance quality, health, and safety objectives through regular auditing of the ISO 9001 systems and facilitate business improvement projects, whilst ensuring that the ISO registration system is maintained.

Conduct training needs analysis, establish training plan and execute training plan. Manage and optimize technical and infrastructural facilities management services, including Engineering & Operations, Workplace Services, and Occupancy Optimization. Ensure alignment with business strategy, corporate guidelines, and policies. Direct your team and service providers to achieve tactical and operational FM goals effectively.
- PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Conduct and arrange an auditing programme within the ISO system for each department to ensure compliance and implementation of ISO practices and procedures.
- Monitor and analyse performance statistics and investigate root cause of service failures, recommending improvements as appropriate to drive continuous service improvement.
- Analyse processes to ensure the removal of non-value-added process steps and processes and identify key areas of the business where process initiatives can enhance quality and performance. Recommend and facilitate projects for improvement.
- Benchmark processes externally and internally as appropriate to ensure that DHL also strives towards achieving best practices.
- Organize and monitor the effectiveness of training in quality, improvement initiatives and quality / business improvement tools to identify areas that can be further enhanced/improved.
- Provide internal auditing of systems and procedures including the Global SOP required audits to ensure that we comply with network standards and procedures.
- Monitor ISO compliance at all locations within Jordan to ensure that we continually maintain the ISO registration.
- Facilitate, support, and promote change and improvement initiatives.
- Suggest and undertake business improvement projects contributing to the reduction in bottom line costs or an improvement in service levels.
- Update corrective action report and maintain Quality Manual. CAR Report must be sent monthly by the timescales given to the regional Quality Manager.
- Draw up and implement a security audit schedule that complies with network standards.
- Ensure that any issues raised from the regional audit report are actioned within a timely manner.
- Ensure that the Ground Operations fleet is managed to network standards at lowest cost and ensuring maximum on road time along with the Fleet Co-Ordinator.
- Complying with ISO accreditation requirements
- Plan, coordinate, and promote all quality activities, with focus on meeting consumer requirements and the outcomes expected within the company plan.
- To lead the development of the local quality strategy, to support and implement the Global strategy
- Identification and coaching of people with potential to grow in the quality function.
- To develop and implement: best practices, common platforms, sharing experience/knowledge with other functions and factories within Operations
- Manage and coordinate infestation procedures and reporting activities.
- Understanding customer requirements and translates this into initiatives for his/her business area
- To coordinate with a number of different functions within all DHL divisions.
- Ensure optimal functionality of building systems, such as HVAC, fire safety equipment, and elevators.
- Oversee vendors and maintenance staff; manage contractors and third parties through KPIs and SLAs.
- Prepare and conduct performance reviews with Facility Management Teams and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Finance to develop and administer operating and capital budgets for facilities.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, maintaining data integrity for the real estate portfolio.
- Manage workspace design and utilization to meet staff and business requirements.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Complete or coordinate routine inspections to determine required services.
- Administer environmental programs in partnership with the company's EH&S Manager, ensuring adherence to Corporate Risk Management policies and insurance requirements for vendors and contractors.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers and facilities staff.
- Provide regular reports on facility operations, expenses, and projects to management.
- Respond to after-hours facilities-related emergencies and determine appropriate actions to resolve issues.

This role is challenged with analysing performance opportunities or problems and implementing solutions as well as generally ensuring that the organisation is quality focussed and using the ISO registration and quality systems and tools to best effect.

The job holder requires to assist locations in solving nonconformities and direct problems or projects that are contrary to ISO standards or DHL's cost / profitability, through use of Quality or THP process and Security Procedures.
Focusing functional management and all other staff to deliver quality to a minimum ISO and Security standard. The job holder is required to advise and direct on corrective actions that are required to conduct audits independently.

The position holder requires to plan & organise one’s time to ensure that audit schedules are adhered to, preparation for external awards are commenced promptly to adhere to deadlines and personal objectives are met and exceeded.
The job holder must train and ensure that DHL Jordan drives Quality and Security through all functions. The role also requires directing DHL Jordan to be compliant in all audits / reviews.
- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Structured, logical, and analytical approach to work.
- Experience of DHL operations preferred
- Excellent command of English both verbal and writing is a must
- Minimum 2 years related experience
- Broad understanding of Consumer-centric quality management principles and Supply chain
- Working knowledge of SPC, ISO 9001certefecation, Six Sigma and CI tools
- Experience in working across multiple functions/projects is preferred
- Strong influencing, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
