Job Summary:
The Procurement Officer is responsible for supporting the procurement team in sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating materials and services. The role involves communicating with suppliers, preparing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing procurement procedures and maintaining documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors for quotations, pricing, and product availability.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in line with internal requirements.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Support the evaluation of supplier performance and maintain updated records.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and assist in audits or reporting.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs.
- Maintain accurate procurement data in ERP or relevant systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement or supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with procurement procedures and vendor communication.
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems and procurement tools.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
