Role Overview
The Finance & HR Manager is responsible for leading the company’s financial management, accounting, compliance, payroll, and human resources functions.
This role ensures financial accuracy, discipline, transparency, and strong people operations, acting as a strategic partner to leadership to support sustainable growth, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management, Reporting & Planning
- Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Deliver management and board reports with insights, variance analysis, and recommendations.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, including scenario and growth planning.
- Monitor performance vs. budget and managing cost control and profitability.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and minimum reserve policies.
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition, deferred revenue, subscriptions, and contract obligations across B2B and B2C models.
2. Accounting Operations & Payroll
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, invoicing, collections, and payroll).
- Ensure timely billing, collections, supplier payments, and payroll processing.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure payroll compliance, including salaries, benefits, social security, Tax and insurance.
3. HR & People Operations
- Oversee HR policies, employment contracts, and employee records.
- Manage onboarding, probation, performance management, and offboarding.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employee relations and workplace matters.
- Lead HR initiatives related to engagement, development, retention, and culture.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR standards.
4. Systems, Processes & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain and improve finance and HR systems, tools, and workflows.
- Develop and document SOPs for finance and HR operations.
- Drive automation, efficiency, and process improvements.
- Ensure secure, confidential, and well-organized financial and employee records.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- 4-8 years in finance, accounting, and payroll; experience in EdTech, SaaS, or subscription-based models is preferred.
- Strong experience with audits, tax compliance, and financial controls.
- Exposure to HR operations and people processes.
- Multi-entity or multi-market experience is a strong advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
- CPA, ACCA, CMA, or MBA is a strong advantage.
