About the Role
The role supports core accounting activities across the organization and contributes to the delivery of accurate, complete, and timely financial information in line with IFRS and internal policies and procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Recording and maintaining financial transactions accurately within the general ledger and relevant sub-ledgers
- Preparing and supporting bank, general ledger, and sub-ledger reconciliations
- Supporting accounts payable and/or accounts receivable processes, including reconciliations and control checks
- Assisting with fixed assets, inventory, and lease accounting activities, as applicable
- Supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, schedules, and audit support documentation
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS, internal accounting policies, and company procedures
- Supporting tax-related accounting requirements, where applicable
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external auditors as required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
- Good English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Willingness to learn and adapt across different accounting areas
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. Oracle or similar) is an advantage
