We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations for our Jordan-based entities. This is a hands-on role reporting to senior finance leadership, ideal for candidates looking to grow into senior accounting roles.
Your Role:
- Process payroll, Social Security, EOSB, bonuses, and deductions
- Manage taxation & governmental filings (VAT, income tax, compliance)
- Perform month-end closings, reconciliations, and trial balances
- Maintain accounting software records and Excel reporting
- Support vendor management, invoice matching, and procurement documentation
- Assist with real estate and investment accounting
- Maintain organized financial records, legal documents, and filings
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax advisors, and other external parties
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong knowledge of accounting software & Excel
- Arabic fluent, English working proficiency
- Experience in corporate or multi-entity environments preferred.
