The opportunity
The Financial Planning Analyst will assist the accounting and finance team with data collection, formatting, and analysis. We are looking for a strategic thinker that will support the function with budgeting and planning.
Your role at OpenSooq includes
- Collecting, Validating and Analyzing Data from all relevant departments.
- Preparing financial reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing and explaining Data.
- Developing financial models to support strategic initiatives and decisions.
- Monitoring and controlling spends within business units in alignment with approved budgets.
- Preparing Budget vs Actual Reports.
- Working on any ad-hoc analysis or reporting requested by the management
- Working alongside multiple functions by highlighting gaps, and suggesting process improvements supported by solid analysis.

We are looking for someone with
- 3+ years of experience in Accounting & Finance, including Reporting or relevant
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to deal with tight deadlines
- Ability to analyze data and create financial and budget plans
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
