We are looking for an Operations & Sustainability Manager to oversee our daily tour operations and lead the charge in sustainable travel practices. The Role
As Operations & Sustainability Manager, you’ll ensure our tours run smoothly and meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability. The role is a blend of office-based coordination and regular field visits throughout Jordan.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day tour operations across Jordan.
- Conduct field visits and spot-checks to ensure quality and address real-time issues.
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers, Bedouin partners, and communities.
- Handle client and supplier feedback with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Prepare and analyze operational reports to drive improvements.
- Lead, train, and support the operations team, fostering accountability and growth.
- Collaborate with internal departments (sales, product, marketing, HR, finance) for operational alignment.
- Head sustainability efforts and oversee the certification process.
- Propose and implement eco-friendly practices to minimize our environmental impact.
- Monitor service quality to ensure we consistently exceed client expectations.
- Coordinate with accounting on budgeting and operational expenses.
- Ensure legal compliance and manage all permit-related communications with government entities.

Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the tourism industry in Jordan.
- Deep knowledge of Jordan’s destinations and geography.
- Advanced English (spoken and written).
- Proven leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication abilities.
- A commitment to sustainable tourism and ethical operations.
- Comfortable balancing office management with field responsibilities.
- Proficiency in office tools and digital systems (e.g. Excel, CRM, email communication, and general operations software).
