We’re looking for a data-driven, execution-focused Operations Manager to lead our logistics, fleet, and fulfillment strategy. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has scaled delivery operations in competitive markets and is ready to build and lead an operations function from the ground up.
You’ll work at the heart of the business managing complexity, solving real-world logistics challenges, and helping us deliver on our promise of speed, reliability, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Fulfillment Management
• Oversee the daily operations of the delivery and fulfillment network across all active zones.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Manage delivery fleet efficiency (riders/drivers), routing, and order completion rates.
• Ensure high fulfillment standards and on-time delivery performance.
Process Optimization & Efficiency
• Monitor operational KPIs including order fulfillment time, failure rates, and cost per order.
• Identify bottlenecks in the operation and implement data-driven solutions.
• Lead initiatives to improve speed, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
• Introduce automation and system tools to streamline workflows.
Rider & Logistics Management
• Build and manage the rider fleet: hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management.
• Ensure real-time operational control and responsiveness to demand fluctuations.
• Create incentive systems to improve rider performance and retention.
• Monitor rider compliance with service standards and safety policies.
Customer Experience & Support Alignment
• Work closely with the customer support team to resolve delivery-related issues.
• Analyze complaints and feedback to drive root-cause fixes in operations.
• Support efforts to improve delivery accuracy and reduce cancellations or delays.
Team Leadership & Internal Coordination
• Build and lead operations teams including field staff, zone supervisors, and logistics coordinators.
• Set team KPIs and ensure continuous performance monitoring.
• Coordinate closely with product, tech, and data teams to improve operational systems.
• Ensure operational readiness for marketing campaigns, promotions, or geographic expansion.
Reporting & Strategy
• Provide weekly and monthly reports on key operational metrics and initiatives.
• Contribute to strategic planning and forecasting from an operational perspective.
• Support the leadership team in scaling the delivery infrastructure to meet business growth.
Qualifications:
• 5–8 years of experience in operations, preferably in food delivery, logistics, or on-demand platforms.
• Strong experience in managing last-mile delivery, fleet logistics, or fulfillment operations. • Proven ability to build and lead operational teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of logistics platforms, dashboards, and performance tracking tools.
