Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and company policies.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
- Analyze financial data to support decision-making and provide insights to management.
- Lead and mentor junior accounting team members (for senior and chief accountant roles).
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Implement and enhance internal controls and accounting procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and ERP systems is a plus.
- For the Chief Accountant: Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is a plus.
Experience Requirements:
- Accountant: 1–3 years of experience
- Senior Accountant: 4–7 years of experience
- Chief Accountant: 8+ years of experience, including leadership roles
