The Senior Sales Treasury Desk role involves managing and executing sales strategies for the treasury products of Bank al Etihad. This role is pivotal in enhancing the bank's treasury business through the development of long-term relationships with clients, providing expert advice on treasury solutions, and ensuring that the bank remains competitive in the market.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develops and manages relationships with corporate and institutional clients to promote financial management products, including foreign exchange, interest rate derivatives, and cash management services
- Provides expert advice on treasury solutions tailored to clients' financial needs and risk management objectives
- Executes transactions for clients while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Collaborates with the trading team to optimize pricing strategies and enhance profitability for treasury products
- Conducts market analysis to stay updated on trends, market movements, and competitor actions to inform strategic decisions
- Monitors client portfolios and offers proactive management solutions to mitigate risks and enhance returns
- Prepares and presents proposals and reports to clients for treasury services, demonstrating strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Trains and mentors junior team members in product knowledge and sales techniques
- Participates in cross-selling opportunities across bank divisions to maximize client engagement and revenue generation
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 5-8 years of experience in treasury sales or a similar role within a financial institution.
Skills: Strong understanding of treasury products, excellent communication and relationship management skills, and ability to analyze market trends effectively.
