The Head of Liabilities will drive the development and execution of the bank's liabilities strategy, ensuring the growth and management of liability products, including deposits and current accounts. This role focuses on increasing customer engagement to optimize performance, improve profitability, and enhance the overall customer experience. The Head of Liabilities will lead a team of professionals and collaborate closely with other departments to ensure alignment with the bank's strategic objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the bank's liabilities strategy to achieve growth targets in deposits and other liability products
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for product development and enhancements
- Oversee the pricing, promotion, and distribution of liability products to ensure competitiveness in the market
- Monitor and manage the performance of the liabilities portfolio, ensuring alignment with overall financial objectives
- Collaborate with the marketing team to drive campaigns that promote liability products and enhance customer acquisition
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental and organizational goals
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including existing and potential customers, to understand their needs and improve service offerings

Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 7-10 years of experience in banking, with a focus on liabilities, deposits, or retail banking.
