Job Summary:
The Human Resources Development Manager provides strategic and operational leadership in all areas of Learning and Organizational Development to ensure the company attracts, develops, and retains a high-performing workforce. This role designs and implements strategies that drive employee capability, organizational effectiveness, and performance excellence while ensuring alignment with the company’s business objectives and growth strategy. The incumbent also oversees compensation frameworks, performance management, and structural optimization across all company locations, contributing to a strong organizational culture and sustainable talent pipeline.
Technical Duties:
Learning & Organizational Development Leadership:
- Develop and execute the corporate Learning & Development (L&D) strategy aligned with short- and long-term business goals.
- Design, deliver, and evaluate comprehensive training programs covering technical, behavioral, and leadership competencies tailored to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Conduct training needs analyses in coordination with departmental heads to ensure skill gaps are addressed effectively.
- Establish continuous learning frameworks and e-learning initiatives to promote knowledge sharing and professional growth.
- Monitor training impact through measurable KPIs and post-training evaluation tools.
Organizational Design & Optemization:
- Lead the review and optimization of organizational structures across business units, ensuring clarity of roles, spans of control, and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Design and maintain the company’s job architecture framework, including job evaluation, leveling, and grading systems.
- Collaborate with Talent Management Team on the creation of succession planning processes using competency-based assessments and 9-box grid methods to identify and develop high-potential talent.
Performance Management, Engagement, and Employer Branding:
- Design, implement, and continuously improve the corporate performance management framework, linking individual and team KPIs to strategic business outcomes.
- Facilitate periodic performance calibration sessions and coach line managers on effective feedback delivery.
- Develop and administer recognition, reward, and incentive programs that foster engagement, accountability, and alignment with company values.
- Lead initiatives that strengthen organizational culture and teamwork across multiple sites, fostering collaboration and a unified organizational identity.
- Introduce light engagement activities such as knowledge-sharing tips, informal meet-and-greet sessions, and quarterly team gatherings to enhance the work environment.
- Highlight organizational achievements and success stories to reinforce a culture of appreciation and continuous improvement.
- Support diversity, inclusion, and empowerment initiatives that contribute to Axantia’s reputation as an employer of choice.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Develop, maintain, and update compensation and benefits frameworks based on market benchmarking, internal equity, and performance metrics.
- Manage grading systems and salary structures, ensuring transparency and compliance with organizational and market standards.
- Conduct annual workforce budgeting, manpower forecasting, and headcount analysis in collaboration with Finance and line departments.
- Utilize HR analytics to provide data-driven insights to senior management on talent trends, turnover, succession risk, and workforce productivity.
Job Specification:
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration or any other related field. Master's degree in engineering management, Human Resources or Business Administration will be an advantage and SHRM & PHRi certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in similar related field
- Fluent in English
