We are hiring a Risk Management & Internal Control Manager for a leading retail group in Kuwait.
This role will lead the RMIC function across retail stores, warehouses, supply chain, and corporate operations, ensuring a strong control environment, asset protection, regulatory compliance, and effective risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework
- Establish and oversee internal controls across retail stores, inventory, POS, procurement, and finance
- Monitor inventory controls, shrinkage, and stock variances
- Lead internal reviews, control assessments, and fraud investigations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements
- Coordinate with external auditors and senior management
- Drive system and process improvements in ERP and POS environments
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification (CIA, CPA, CA, ACCA, CRMA – preferred)
- 7–10+ years of experience in Risk Management, Internal Control, or Internal Audit
- Strong experience in Retail / FMCG / Luxury industry (Perfume experience is a plus)
- GCC experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of ERM frameworks, retail operations, and inventory controls
