Job Title: Human Resources Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Human Resources Supervisor at Opal Hotel – Amman plays a key role in supporting all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, compensation and benefits, training, and HR administration. The position ensures effective implementation of HR policies and procedures while supporting employee engagement, compliance with labor laws, and the overall growth and performance of hotel staff in alignment with the hotel’s objectives.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, CV screening, interviews coordination, selection, and onboarding processes.
- Prepare employment contracts, job offers, and onboarding documentation.
- Coordinate employee orientation sessions and ensure proper induction of new hires.
- Handle employee relations matters professionally, addressing concerns and supporting conflict resolution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and personnel files.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and hotel standards.
- Assist in payroll preparation by collecting and verifying attendance records.
- Prepare monthly closing reports, overtime, deductions, and related payroll reports through the system.
- Support the administration of employee benefits and allowances.
- Ensure full compliance with Jordanian Labor Law and Social Security regulations.
- Monitor HR practices to ensure legal and policy compliance
- Support the HR Manager in performance appraisal processes and employee development plans.
- Assist in identifying training needs and follow up on performance improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate and organize training programs, workshops, and development initiatives.
- Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness.
- Prepare weekly and periodic HR and administrative reports, including:
- HR Headcount Table
- Weekly Orientation Reports
- Minutes of Meeting (MoM) for Daily Management Meetings
- Any additional HR or administrative reports as required
- Support the HR Manager in developing and updating HR policies and procedures.
Candidate Specifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, English, or a related field.
- Previous experience covering multiple HR functions, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Solid understanding of Jordanian Labor Law and Social Security regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Strong presentation, organizational, and reporting skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
