We are currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Amman, Jordan.

About the Role
As a Logistics Coordinator at REDA Chemicals, you will play a key role in supporting and streamlining supply chain operations. This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive professional with solid experience in logistics coordination, data accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure the timely delivery and clearance of materials. You will also support reporting, purchase order processing, documentation review, and initiatives aimed at minimizing lead times and improving operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and timely logistics and supply chain data within internal systems
- Generate supply chain and logistics reports covering key operational activities
- Support the logistics team by ensuring adherence to established processes and best practices
- Prepare and place purchase orders with suppliers and follow up on shipping and clearance activities
- Assign freight forwarders when required and negotiate competitive shipping rates
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery in line with official purchase orders
- Follow up with customs brokers to ensure timely clearance within free time limits, avoiding demurrage and detention charges
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to track orders and provide accurate status updates
- Review shipping and customs documentation to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Actively work to reduce order lead times through effective coordination with all stakeholders
Requirements
- University degree
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain coordination
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Solid understanding of logistics operations, including international freight systems and Incoterms
