As a
Demand and Supply Planner – Spare Parts, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of spare parts inventory across all locations. You will be responsible for forecasting demand, planning supply, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining optimal inventory levels to support both sales and after-sales service operations. Your work will ensure that the right parts are available at the right time, enhancing customer satisfaction and supporting operational excellence.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Managing the demand and supply planning for FUSO spare parts, ensuring timely ordering, accurate forecasting, and optimal inventory levels at all locations.
- Coordinating daily stock requirements and deliveries with suppliers to avoid delays and maintain service continuity.
- Following proper shipping and receiving procedures, including wholesale routes, delivery timetables, and inspection protocols.
- Compiling and analyzing supplier data, including specifications, costs, production timelines, and shipment details.
- Preparing orders, monitoring shipment progress, and ensuring on-time arrival at the required locations.
- Verifying order options, specifications, and pricing before placement.
- Maintaining up-to-date inventory statements and product location records.
- Preparing product specification sheets for each spare part model to support procurement decisions.
- Coordinating customs formalities, registration, and licensing for imported spare parts.
- Ensuring ERP systems and portals are updated with accurate stock data, including items in transit, in-stock, and sold.
- Monitoring competitor pricing and performing local market analysis to ensure competitive pricing strategies.
- Submitting timely reports to management and principal suppliers on inventory status, order fulfillment, and market trends.
- Planning and organizing periodic stock counts, verifying accuracy of inventory data, and addressing discrepancies.
- Handling special shipments, including diplomatic deliveries and damaged or missing parts claims.
- Supporting the continuous improvement of supply chain processes, contributing to efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, or spare parts operations.
- Strong command of English and Arabic – written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid understanding of inventory management, procurement planning, and order forecasting.
- Knowledge of logistics, supply chain processes, and spare parts management.
