Job Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing all warehouse operations to ensure accurate receipt, storage, control, and dispatch of inventory, educational materials, and equipment across Jo Academy. The role ensures compliance with inventory control procedures, safety standards, and operational policies while driving continuous improvement to support supply chain efficiency and organizational performance.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and oversee all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, inventory control
picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Lead and supervise warehouse supervisors and staff; provide guidance, feedback, and
performance management.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock accuracy, and system records; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Develop and enforce warehouse SOPs, inventory control procedures, and health & safety standards.
- Set and monitor KPIs related to productivity, accuracy, turnaround time, and compliance.
- Optimize warehouse space, equipment usage, and layout to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, delivery teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee stock audits and cycle counts and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records using WMS or ERP systems.
- Ensure warehouse safety, security, cleanliness, and compliance with regulations.
- Monitor warehouse equipment and approve maintenance requirements.
- Support workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and training.
- Identify skill gaps and provide coaching and development.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
Experience
- 8–10 years of experience in warehouse or supply chain operations
- 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory role
- Experience in EdTech, retail, or distribution environments is preferred
