Job Summary
The Production Manager will oversee the entire production process, ensuring that manufacturing operations run smoothly, efficiently, and meet high-quality standards. This role is essential for managing workflow, coordinating across departments, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The Production Manager will also collaborate with Procurement, Sales, and Design teams to meet production targets and customer requirements effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all stages of production, including planning, scheduling, and execution, to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate production schedules and resources to meet customer deadlines while maintaining quality and budget standards.
- Develop and manage production plans to optimize workflow and prevent delays.
- Monitor and adjust production processes to improve efficiency and resolve bottlenecks.
- Identify areas for improvement in production operations and implement best practices to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Analyze production data and KPIs regularly to track performance and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with the Sales team to understand customer requirements, deadlines, and market needs.
- Collaborate with the Design team to ensure production meets client specifications and product quality expectations.
- Coordinate with the Procurement to ensure timely supply of raw materials and components, preventing production delays.
- Manage inventory levels to balance production needs while minimizing excess stock and optimizing resource usage.
- Ensure production complies with established quality standards and industry regulations.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and enforce strict quality control measures throughout the production process.
- Maintain compliance with local and national health and safety regulations.
- Implement safety standards within the production facility to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Conduct regular safety audits, address potential hazards, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Promote a safety culture and provide training to employees on best practices and safe work habits.
- Prepare and present regular production reports to senior management, highlighting performance, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and safety documentation for auditing and performance review purposes.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the direct manager.
Qualifications And Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in production management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience in procurement processes, inventory control, and coordination with external suppliers.
- Knowledge of production management tools and software (e.g., ERP or CRM systems).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address production challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with various departments and external parties.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to production.
- Fluent in Arabic; English is an added advantage.
