About the Role
We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media & Fundraising Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the organization’s digital presence, engaging with our community, and supporting fundraising and event activities that promote our mission and programs.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Creation
Create consistent, meaningful content across all social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (X), LinkedIn, and others.
Write, edit, and publish engaging posts that increase audience interaction and promote campaigns.
Create and share daily multimedia content (text, images, videos) that reflect the organization’s voice and brand identity.
Monitor audience engagement and interact with followers to strengthen online relationships.
Collaborate with team members and partners to ensure all content is informative, accurate, and visually appealing.
Track performance metrics, analyze trends, and prepare regular social media reports.
Fundraising & Community Engagement
Plan and execute online fundraising campaigns and donor outreach initiatives.
Maintain relationships with donors, partners, and community supporters.
Develop creative digital strategies to grow our supporter base and fundraising outcomes.
Manage student programs and partnerships with educational institutions to encourage student engagement and volunteering.
Event Management & Marketing
Plan and coordinate social events and fundraising activities, including logistics, invitations, venue selection, vendors, concept planning, and budgeting.
Oversee marketing and communication efforts to promote events and increase participation.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth event execution and brand consistency.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the organization’s goals and programs.

Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
Proven experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
Experience in fundraising or event coordination is an advantage.
Familiarity with social media analytics and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Illustrator, Adobe Suite, Meta Business Suite).
Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
