Key Responsibilities

Greet clients and pets warmly upon arrival
Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries professionally
Schedule and confirm appointments using clinic software
Check-in and check-out clients efficiently
Maintain accurate client and patient records
Process payments and handle cash or credit transactions
Communicate clearly with veterinarians, technicians, and other team members
Keep the reception area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
Provide empathetic support to clients during emergencies or stressful situations
Handle prescription refills, reminders, and follow-up calls as needed
Uphold client confidentiality and clinic protocols at all times

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a veterinary or medical setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Familiarity with veterinary software (e.g., AVImark, Cornerstone, eVetPractice) is a plus
Compassion for animals and their owners
Friendly, professional demeanor
Calm under pressure
Team-oriented and proactive
Passionate about animals and client care

Physical Requirements

Able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
Ability to work weekends or evenings as scheduled
