Join Our Team as a School Nurse
The International Community School (ICS), a leading British-curriculum international school in Jordan, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to join our team. In this vital role, you will support the health, safety, and wellbeing of our students and staff by providing
high-quality care, promoting wellness, and ensuring the effective management of school health services.
Your Responsibilities:
Provide first-line medical care for injuries and illnesses occurring during the school day.
Administer medications and manage ongoing health conditions in line with parental instructions and medical guidelines.
Maintain accurate medical records, including vaccination updates and students’ health histories.
Communicate promptly with parents and staff regarding illnesses, injuries, and medical needs.
Implement health education initiatives promoting hygiene, nutrition, and healthy habits.
Conduct regular health screenings and collaborate with the school doctor and parents for medical referrals.
Ensure readiness of first aid equipment and maintain high standards of clinic safety and hygiene.
Support safeguarding procedures by reporting any suspected cases of neglect or abuse.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
License to practice nursing in Jordan
A minimum of 3 years experience working with children or in a school/clinical environment preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a reassuring and empathetic approach.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail in record-keeping and reporting.
Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergencies.
Commitment to student welfare, confidentiality, and safeguarding.
Have excellent ICT skills specifically in Google Suite
Be able to interact with multicultural backgrounds and nationalities

A competitive salary starting at 1,100 JOD per month subject to social security and tax deductions per Jordanian Law
