A leading industrial and contracting company is seeking to hire a Cost Accountant / Chief Accountant to join its dynamic team in Saudi Arabia
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all accounting operations including billing, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost control systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Analyze production costs, overheads, and variances to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Oversee and guide junior accountants, reviewing their work for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Contribute to financial planning and strategic decision-making with senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, preferably in industrial and contracting sectors.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, financial reporting, and project accounting.
- Professional certifications (e.g. CPA, CMA) are a plus.
Skills:
- Excellent command of ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy in reporting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
