Summary:
We are looking for a Consumer Credit Assistant Manager with specialized experience in auto loans to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in credit evaluation and risk management. The successful candidate will be responsible for scrutinizing and evaluating credit/service proposals, ensuring due diligence is adhered to, and making decisions in line with the bank’s policies and guidelines.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Tasks are prioritized, processed & completed in accordance with procedures, work arrival pattern and volumes.
- Scrutinizing Credit / Service Proposals and identifying exceptions.
- Ensuring that credit / Service proposals are reviewed with Due Diligence and taking decision in line with the bank's guidelines.
- Due diligence in reviewing proposals, identifying exceptions and taking decision in line with the bank's policy.
- Evaluate Credit / Service Cases above approved credit limits and recommend the same for the higher management.
- Circulate a daily report for the number of cases including the types of products and services will be done.
- Circulate a monthly report of all mistakes done by the team.
- Responsible for ensuring that Fraud / Blacklisted cases are updated.
- Common frauds / errors / irregular transactions are identified, and appropriate actions taken in accordance with procedures.
- Internal blacklist check, central Bank blacklist, inspectors and CRIF checking.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or any related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in credit analysis in consumer banking field. Auto-loan experience is a plus.
- Proven track record of managing credit portfolios, driving policy improvements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
