Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Payroll and Commission Accountant to join our finance team.
This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, commission
calculations, and related reconciliations for U.S.-based companies, while ensuring accuracy,
confidentiality, and compliance with company policies. The position also supports general
accounting functions and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, process, and reconcile payroll for employees across multiple entities.
- Calculate and validate commissions based on performance metrics and
- agreements.
- Maintain employee payroll and commission records with accuracy and
- confidentiality.
- Support month-end and year-end closings by preparing payroll-related journal
- entries and reconciliations.
- Generate periodic payroll and commission reports for management review.
- Support general accounting tasks as needed (GL postings, reconciliations, reporting).
Qualifications And Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in accounting (preferably payroll accounting and commission calculations or general accounting).
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work U.S. business hours
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
