Job Purpose:
Support ongoing maintenance activities by ensure that all potential aircraft materials & tooling are onsite in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Material Support Engineer consider as focal point between the company and Customer related to Material
issues.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Find out solution for operation requests by looking for an alternative Material/procedure.
- Liaison with engineering departments & materials, including stores, to ensure aircraft spares are supplied and expedited.
- Define Material Part Numbers in the ERP according to the Manual reference, which is not inconsistent with the signed Contract.
- Monitor and control of aircraft material and tooling shortages. Provide the customer list of shortages.
- Coordinate with the Sales department and finance for the Material contract criteria and requirements.
- Coordinate with the Operation Team to provide the Most Critical Material and dead deadline for every request.
- Provide support for operations recovery plans for operational disruptions due to scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting
- Basic understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and documentation.
- Awareness of aviation regulations (e.g., Part-145) is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
